Hey there all. Long time listener, first time caller.
TLDR
Anyone got any stretches, exercises or movements that specifically target the top back of the ribcage to get those joints moving???
Short story time
I've had costo for just over a year now. I have gone from feeling heart attacks to almost healed. I have only one set of ribs left to fix.
When I'm all better I will put up a full recovery journal of what I did when I'm able to do pushups again.
The ribs joints just below the collar bones in the centre of my chest, the two rib joints on either side. They won't stop clicking and being in pain. I can't bend forward in some positions still without them hurting, again not as bad as before but still, Im done with this dumb illness and I want to workout like I did before. I was built before this dumb illness.
I have done a bunch of stretches ect to help get rid of the rest and they have worked pretty well as it used to be my entire sternum that hurt.
How do I induce movement in the top of the back for the ribcage? Like a targeted stretch or quick exercise you can do anytime.
I have tried pressing on the back of the top ribs with my thumbs but I can barely reach and I think it just causes more irritation than good for them.
P.S I don't care if it's weird or I have to do a cartwheel or something. I want to just get this over with now. I'm so close, I can feel it. Every couple of months I have made some great progress off of some random exercise or habit, and now, Im almost out I can feel it.
