Spotted at ally pally station, are these even native? Looks like a jumping spider. It was tiny these shots were taken with macro.

Why do these uniball eye needle pens leak so much?

I use these pens all the time, however I find that 3-4 of them leak per year, all in the same way. The clear reservoir fills up with ink completely whilst it comes out around the white bit next to the tip, and makes a large ball of ink. Had one leak on me a few days ago and want a proper explanation, so thought this would be the right place to find it.
