Husband is a mechanic, recently an owner of a shop they send some things they don’t work on mentioned he is looking to retire and asked him about buying him out. It’s a well established one man business that’s been around for 30 years. We do not have any assets aside from our home, and a couple thousand in savings. While they didn’t talk numbers, I’m sure he wants enough to retire himself. What does this look like for us? Do banks consider the established income of the business when applying for business credit?
