It does not get better. The grind and scrambling never stops.

In lectures, people constantly ignore the professor to apply for jobs. The most common thing I see on people laptops when I'm walking by is Overleaf. It shifted from everything being about what university you got into to what internship did you get.

Don't wait until you [XYZ] to be happy, otherwise you are going to be waiting forever.
