I went thru a metal stain cleanup finished about 7 days ago, working on getting chlorine back up, took it slow at first

Running salt chlorinator 8 hours at 80% now, added 4 gallons liquid chlorine 3 days ago, went from 14ppm for to zero in about 12 hours

Last night added 4 gallons liquid chlorine, held overnight at 14 ppm fc, held until noon at 14, cc .2 ppm, came home to zero chlorine

Cya 65, alkalinity 70, ph was 8 at noon added 1 gallon muriatic acid 20k gallon pool

About to add 4 more gallons of liquid chlorine, maybe hold off worrying about ph until fc stabilizes

Pool chemistry was very stable prior to metal wash but ph runs at that 8 range

Any other suggestions ?
