Odyssey Program Post-Interview Procedure Questions
Bonjour à tou(te)s ! I interviewed for the (English Teaching in Francophone Communities) Odyssey program back in April, and a couple of weeks ago I received an email that the team who interviewed me had recommended my candidacy and sent my file off to Quebec (I'm from NS). I'm a little unclear on what that means, and I was wondering if those who have gone through the process might be able to offer some wisdom.
Does getting approved after an interview mean that my file has received the all-around stamp of approval, and now it is waiting to potentially be matched with a school board? Or does it mean that I have passed through the first round, and may yet get rejected in the second, after the provincial coordinators in Quebec read through my application? I understand that a successful interview doesn't necessarily guarantee a placement, but I'm not quite certain why that is. I figured that I may as well post in here before clogging the coordinators' inbox.
Thanks!
