USACS hospitalist experience in the central U.S. + new grad salary expectations?
I’m currently a PGY-3 internal medicine resident looking for a daytime hospitalist position in the central U.S. after graduation.
Has anyone worked with US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) in this region? I’d appreciate hearing about your experience with workload, scheduling, compensation, benefits, and overall job satisfaction.
More generally, what base salary or hourly rate should a new graduate expect for a daytime, 7-on/7-off hospitalist position in the central U.S.? My preference is a closed ICU with no required procedures, codes, or rapid responses.
What would you consider a competitive package, and what should I look out for before accepting my first job?(No visa required)
