So I got accepted to study abroad at Yamanashi Gakuin University through WorldStrides for Fall 2025. I finally got my admission letter so I can add it to my application, however I'm having trouble providing financial support documentation and meeting the requirements. From what I'm been told is that yamanashi gakuin university wants to see that my Financial Supporters can show proof of having 3 bank statements..with a balance of 2 million yen each month annually? That's around 12,000/13,000 each month. I have added my mom, my step dad, and my sister. But I'm still having trouble and been told that I still don't meet the 2 million yen for each month. What are they looking for specifically?? Are they combining all of their income together as one or separately? I'm trying to have this done before may is over for my student visa. Is anyone else having this type of trouble or has been accepted at Yamanashi? I understand it's to apply to Japan immigration law but good gosh! That's a lot of money for a household to have each month!
