I just got him like 4 days ago from my grandpa and this parrot is about 15 years old. He does normal parrot things like chew wood and talk. But he recently started to let me pet him and while I was trying to give him a peanut he just leans off his cage and makes this weird noise. And it gets worse if I try to touch him or get closer, he doesn’t bite or anything the noise just gets louder and his feathers puff more.
But yeah I’m new to anything that isn’t a parakeet so I have no idea if this is normal.

Everything is still healing but I have no pain. Can yall say what you think? My doctor said they’ll align better as my eyes heal.

Also people who had surgery how was recovery?
