alright for some context here, my lead told me that the attendance policy changed… again. i feel like it changes every other week so i really can’t keep up with wtv the current rule is, but this time it’s you can call out 3 days per 30 days and leadership will pull you for a documented conversation asking why you called out even if it’s the first time you’ve called out in months. this really rubs me the wrong way. i’m not someone who calls in for anything other than health related things and i’m also not someone who struggles with showing up to work, but i still feel like it’s a little invasive. i’m a people pleaser so i won’t lie to them or be reactive to them asking me but i still don’t like it. like what do they want us to say? yea girl i was up having diarrhea all night!! idk it’s just weird and other peoples input would be nice 🤣
edit to add: it’s not an issue for me i agree that 3 per 30 is pretty good, i just didn’t realize how many people were being asked why they are calling in. i’ve worked at my store for almost 2 years and its a new thing!
