so i will be starting design college this year and i am confudsed if i want to keep pursuing this career after nid and uceed ( which i did shit in btw). After learning what NID truly wants (ideation over sketching) i feel lost and i want to know how it specifically works in the foundation year of the college that any of you seniors attend. I really am not into material handling and i want to know what tools we use in foundation year college. Do we have way more pressure or is there more leeway given ? What happens in design jury exams during this year? and how is it different than actual entrance prep. In the sense do they double down on just ideation or what. Is it more brutal ? And lastly where will we use like material workshops? like in which courses because i want to pursue game design but iam exploring more courses like product design.

Any advice surrounding these topics would be of great help.
