I’m going to install horizontal metal railing balusters, but the span is pretty long. The longest span I’ll have to cover is 100”. I’ve seen a few companies recommending to not exceed 60”.

Any recommendations on how to span this distance and still have a safe baluster? Do I have to split the distance with another post? Should I find heavy wall gauge round stock?
