Academic worry
Hi, im currently 16F im currently in RP in a tech course pretty good course. however im unsure which choice of school to make.based on my time there so far i just dont really enjoy it at all. i love my friends but the environment there is jist not my cup of tea. so options are
- International school in shanghai (A levels)
pros:
meet new people and deepen connections
shanghai good livable city
school is very prestigious and has good relations with top unis
many connections in the school
cons
the people in the school are very mainland chinese ( few angmos as most of them are taking IB in a different campus ) and i feel like my chinese speaking ability isn’t the best might be hard to get along etc.
the dorm there looks like a prison cell.
- foundation in trinity college to unimelb
pros:
fast track to uni
dorms are amazing
meet new people
cons :
Melb is boring asf and it feels like a suburb idl the vibe there dosnt feel city.
Foundation cert is quite uselsss and not as good as alevel cert
i don’t see myself doing uni in melb. its just boring and the vibe is not it there’s nothing to do there
and once do foundation im stuck in australia
3.staying in RP
pros:
good course with good potential to earn alot
Cons
people around there are lazy and gangster bad influencers and the environment is not good at all
i don’t like the way they do work too much computer work and school feels slack.
4)staying 1 year in shanghai then if i don’t like go trinity
pros-
meet even more people and experience fully
technically not wasting a year
cons
wasting a year
