Same type of coleus. Two different growlights!

I have one in my north facing window with a regular 15w warm growlight. The other closer to a 60w, more cold hue growlight.

I don’t know much about growlights, but it’s makes such a huge difference with pink and red hues!

Can’t wait for summer, to see this one grow out in the sun.

Very happy with the first leaf in my care

Pleasantly surprised. I have an unknown clone just named ”Aceh” (after the area it came from). And damn! It was very hard to root. It is now 6 months old. My slowest hoya in my collection. I hope she picks up her speed now.

I have had her BLASTING under a growlight for the past month (since i had no space for her on the upper shelf). A bit too close actually, because i burned her. I think that is what has contributed to the leaves being more narrow and purple in my care. It’s fun to see how much hoyas can change!

I can’t seem to figure out what syngoniums need. Can i get some advice?

I only have my red arrow left now. I bought her three months ago, and she has only put out two leaves. It takes her suuuuper long to unfold her leaves, and she isn’t doing too much. I have had her in my growing cabinet under a growlight with 80% humidity.

The two syngoniums i had prior were also slow. I had those outside the cabinet, under a growlight in my north facing window, and i think they only put out one leaf during the months they lived. They would just up and die after 3-4 months.

I’m very confused to what’s wrong. I have tried growing them both in high humidity, and low. They are the slowest growing plant i have ever owned. I do a bit of a chunky mix for them. With regular soil, pumice and cocohusk chips/bark. I’m used to growing hoyas and coleus. I’m not used to aroids with such thick roots as syngoniums have.

What am i doing wrong? Why are they so slow and fragile? What can i do to make my red arrow thrive?
