So I go to a P/NP dental school, coming to the end of my D1 year. My school doesn't do ranking, but we do have Honors. I have not received an Honors for any classes, but have passed all of my classes. I feel like I'm not doing enough. What advice do ppl who have gotten into (preferably CA) orthodontic resident programs have for me?
I have undergrad research experience in 2 labs and 2 publications. Soon starting another research lab in dental school, not ortho-specific. In my breaks from school, I work in a dental office as a DA. I'm on the class council, hold 1 board position in a club, and do some volunteer events here and there. I have some more stuff from undergrad, but I don't think that goes in my residency app, does it?
Based on other applicants I've seen, I don't think I'm doing nearly enough, mostly becasue I've been focusing on simply passing my classes, and when I have the rare occurrence of free time, I try my best to see my family. What more should I do?
