My Koya leg pump is about 3yrs old and the Velcro knee strap won’t hold anymore. Any tips on reviving it again? The hook part is on the leg pump itself.
This is 1wk after my 1st dose of 1.5mg. I’m also 7wks post op from lymph sparing lipo to remove fibrosis. I have a small hematoma on my outer calf that is healing up. But so far, my swelling is subtly better! It’s been almost 100 degrees here which may be affecting my results some. I see my CLT on Monday so I’ll report back with measurements.
PLEASE NOTE: Over the last 18 months, I have had lymphovenous anastomosis in 3 areas (one did not take), vascularized lymph node transfer in 2 areas and lymph sparing lipo to remove fibrosis. These procedures have also helped with swelling reduction and greatly improved the quality of my life.
Random question. Do any of you have friends, family or otherwise who have lymphedema? For me, I’m the only one. After 3yrs, my family just now got that my condition is incurable even after the reconstructive surgeries I’ve had. My husband still doesn’t really understand everything.
