9 years of solar power AZ

I had solar installed in my 2300 square-foot home, by Harmon Solar in North Scottsdale. I paid for it outright, 26K. The motivation was to try and meet the deadline to be grandfathered into the older net metering 12.9 cent per kilowatt hour back to APS.. Of course, it was also to lower my electric bills, which, during the summer, were terrible……. I made the deadline and am grandfathered. It’s a 20 year term.

My electric bill went from high, to zero, but then, years ago , APS complained to the Arizona corporate commission that they were making no money from people like us…….They wanted to charge an infrastructure fee. $20 per month. The Arizona corporate commission granted it so that’s what I pay.
