Is My Profile Ruined for Tier 1 B Schools?

I failed NEET twice so I have a gap year on my profile. Now I'm doing a BSc in Life Sciences which I don't even want. The only way out I can see is doing an MBA. So I'm planning to start CAT prep as soon as possible.

But I did some research and found out that people with BSc in bio don't get placed as well as engineers. They rarely make it to tier 1 B schools. Here's my worry: is it even possible for someone like me to get into IIM K, SIBM, or XLRI? Am I already at a huge disadvantage because of my NEET failures and my life sciences background?

I know my profile looks bad on paper. But I'm willing to work really hard on CAT. Can I still make it to a top B school if I ace the entrance exam and have a good interview? Please be honest with me. Should I even bother trying or should I look at other options? What are my realistic chances? Any advice would help. Thanks!
