surgery question

I was supposed to get surgery for my trimalleolar fracture this Tuesday. The surgery ended up being canceled because they couldn’t get an IV in me after multiple tries. The nurse said they would call me. My doctor was saying for my type of fracture, I require surgery. It’s already been 2 weeks since I initially broke it. I have received no call. Do yall know how long I can go without surgery before it becomes an issue? I’m becoming concerned, since I don’t want it to start forming new bone before I go under the knife for it.

How tf do I sleep in my side

Hey guys. Last friday, i suffered a trimalleolar fracture on my right ankle, and im getting surgery the coming Tuesday.

My question is for all of my broken ankle people: how do you guys sleep on your side with the cast? I got moved to a full hard cast today from a splint and moving my foot is already torture in itself.

I’ve never been a back sleeper, and I do not have a leg extension pillow yet. I’ve been trying to do a pillow in between my legs but 5 minutes later I want to switch sides, and it’s exhausting.

What sleeping position did you personally find best for you??
