tldr: looking for game where getting good loot is rare and impactful and exciting.

So I’ve been listening to dungeon crawler Carl series and one thing I really like is how they sometimes get loot boxes that have a big impact on their build/power.

I find often with games ive enjoyed like destiny series or Witcher 3 that the loot is often incrementally better so that it doesn’t feel any different, or it comes at you so fast that you never play long with any one set up.

I find warframe to be good for the feeling of how much different equipment effect gameplay and power but it doesn’t have that random loot thrill for me quite the same way.
