Planning To Clear Dgca exam during Engineering before joining a Cadet Pilot Programme.Need Advice
Hey everyone,
I just wrapped up my second year of Engineering, and my ultimate goal is to join a Cadet Pilot Programme after I graduate.
I planned to clear all my DGCA ground exams during my 3rd and 4th year of engineering so that I can transition straight into flight training post-graduation without wasting months in a ground school bottleneck.
However, I’m trying to figure out the timeline for execution, especially regarding medical validities and exam timeouts.
When should I get my medicals done?
NOW : So that I get 100% confirmation to pursue aviation. But then i' ll have to redo it again around graduation.
OR
Directly Around graduation: So that I don't have to redo tests and waste money
OR
Doing the Class 2 medical right now and getting the Class 1 closer to graduation makes sense.
Would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on framing a timeline for me.
Thanks in advance!
