Potential Taylor Hinds chant?
I saw someone here post about chants not long ago and how to start one; they said online might be a good way to spread it.
Having been to games throughout this past season I don’t think we have one for Taylor..? Correct me if I’m wrong.
Maybe not the most well known song unless you went to church as a kid but is there anyone who knows the religious kids song, Deep and Wide? I propose the verse:
Deep and wide, deep and wide
There’s a fountain flowing, deep and wide
Could be:
Taylor Hinds, Taylor Hinds
Got a left back going, Taylor Hinds
I can’t share the best video of it from YouTube because it’s got the child safety settings on, but here are two women singing it (and adding in a fancy hallelujah 😅). You can YouTube it yourself to see other versions.
What does everyone think? It has just been in my head a few weeks and thought I’d put it out there. Her name fits the tune well. Also if you can think of better lyrics for the second line, be my guest.
EDIT: just realised that ‘got a left back going’ could also be construed as she’s up for sale which is not what I meant 🤦♀️ so definitely some better lyrics required I think?
Don’t know if I’d be brave enough to belt it out on my own at a game for the first time 😂
