M500 4G , Does it have individual microSD and SIM slot, or is it shared?

I'm thinking about getting the M500 4G, but would like to know if the sim card is a independent slot, independent hybrid slot (microSD/SIM), or shared with the MicroSD.

Also, would like to know people's experience with using the M500 as a phone

[Question] Looking for a integer scaler for the HDMI video output

I might be one of the odd ones who still loves 1080p and honestly doesn’t see much benefit in 4K. Anyways, I’ve heard about issues with how TVs and other displays upscale content to fit a 4K panel. Because of that, I’m currently trying to find an upscaler that does strict integer scaling only — basically a clean 1:4 pixel scale with no added effects or post-processing.

The reason I’m looking into this is because I may need to move in the near future, and commercial displays no longer seem to offer many 1080p models. That means I’d probably have to buy a 4K display instead. Unfortunately, the manuals rarely mention what kind of upscaling behavior the display uses. I’m guessing most are probably “fine,” but I would strongly prefer a setup where the display can effectively operate as a pure 1080p image scaled cleanly to 4K, instead of applying a bunch of unknown image processing.

The current recommendation I’ve been given is the RetroTINK-4K Pro, but I don’t fully understand the difference between the Pro and CE models. I’d also need support for YCbCr color formats/ranges since I watch a lot of Blu-ray and DVD content.

I’m also open to DIY builds for custom integer scalers if anyone has recommendations or experience with that route.

If anyone knows of another community where I could ask about this kind of setup, I’d appreciate the recommendation.

I was wondering if there are any photos of the internals of the M500, specifically for the USB-C, and Aux ports.

Because I was wondering if HiBy adopted the same board stack from the R4. The reason I ask is because I ideally want to avoid something that cannot be easily DIY.
