2021 150 Montauk

I bought this boat a little over a month ago. I was a little worried about it being too small, and it is on the small side, but I’m obsessed. I’ve waited 20 years to own a BW, and it was totally worth the wait. Wife loves it too.

Wife’s family lives in coastal SC. We live near Lake Norman, NC and I trout fish Western NC quite a bit. This boat has opened up fishing in all those locations. Brook trout streams are still a little tricky 🤷‍♂️😅. The 150 is so easy to trailer, it makes up for being much smaller than the 170.

Previous owner removed the 60hp label on the engine and replaced it with 50 bc the lake he was using it on only allowed up to 50hp

Joined the family. 2021 150 MTK

I just joined the family this week. Got to take it out for the first time today on Lake Norman. What a fun little boat! I’m so excited to go fishing in the fall and take my wife out for date night.

I’m currently 35 (almost 36) and I’ve been wanting a BW since I was 12.

The boat doesn’t have a GPS/fish finder. I’d love to hear some recommendations. Thank you!

Steering wheel optional?

Boston Whaler is now saying the steering wheel is optional equipment, along with the fuel tank and windshield. 🙄

If I don’t order a steering wheel, do they really sell me a boat without one? Seems crazy.
