Heading to Peru soon and trying to figure out the eSIM situation before I land. I’ll mostly need it for Google Maps, Uber, WhatsApp, booking stuff, and basic browsing while moving around Lima, Cusco, and maybe Machu Picchu.

I’ve seen a few options mentioned like Airalo, Nomad, Holafly, and some local carriers, but the reviews are kind of mixed. Some people say eSIMs work fine in cities, while others say coverage can get spotty once you’re outside the main areas.

Main things I care about are easy setup, decent speed, reliable coverage, and not getting stuck with a plan that barely works once I leave Lima.
