Brick Life abandoned??? 🧐
Hello, I’m here to talk about Brick Life because I genuinely feel like the developers have abandoned this game mode.
(Sorry for sounding harsh, but this last update was really the final straw.)
First, let’s talk about the bugs.
The game freezes every 5 minutes, and sometimes it even sends us back to the lobby completely.
(This is probably one of the most annoying bugs, alongside the new one added in the latest update.)
Since this update, we also can’t place furniture back exactly where it was before after moving it.
Here are some other major bugs:
- Recipes randomly resetting
- Some players being unable to withdraw money
- Items placing incorrectly on white pillars
- Purple lights appearing blue instead
- Furniture sometimes disappearing after being placed while still taking up a slot
- The Daft Punk pack lights no longer being able to change color
And honestly, these are only the main bugs. There are many more.
Now let’s talk about missing content and forgotten features.
The new Star Wars buildings are not available in Brick Life even though we own them in our locker.
The Tudor houses should also be added since they can clearly be seen in one of the official Brick Life announcement images.
Some furniture unlocked through LEGO passes or quests is still unavailable, such as:
- Elite Shatter Spawn Trophy
- Heroic Triumph Statue
- Older pass items like the antique phone
Now, let’s discuss the lack of updates.
If I remember correctly, the last noticeable addition was the horse next to the Bao restaurant back in February.
That means it has been over 3 and a half months without a major update. The last real big update was actually in December for the Brick Life anniversary event.
Here are a few ideas that could really make the community happy:
- Open currently closed buildings like the arcade
- Add regular events every 4 months or so
- Release new content more often
- Increase XL house capacity to 400 furniture slots
To conclude this long message,
I truly hope the developers will finally listen to the community, because many players still love Brick Life and simply want to see the game evolve instead of being left behind.
