Copilot Saved Memory Issues
I'm using Copilot Free and the problem persists for both PC and Android. The last month or so it's become increasingly difficult to have Copilot save anything to my saved memories. I've put a ton of stuff in there over the last year successfully with no issues or complaints. I often go back and organize them, delete old entries and combine similar subjects into one new memory just to keep things coherent.
Now half the time it's claiming the memory saved, but the little processing animation that plays and says "Memory Saved" isn't appearing and when I manually check the memory area in settings It hasn't been added.
Copilot itself speculated that maybe what I'm trying to add is too similar to an existing memory entry and being rejected by a back end service agent but that isn't the case. I know there are certain things that can't be saved but I'm pretty sure I'm clear of those. It's never complained about duplicate information before anyway.
I've had some success rewording or making the new entry smaller but that doesn't always work and seems arbitrary. Ive never seen any mention of a limit to the quantity or size of saved memories. If there is an unpublished limit on free users memory size I'd be happy to stay within it, but not knowing makes it frustrating. That Copilot itself doesn't know is even more frustrating.
Yesterday a new area for importing memories appeared in settings. This also failed but at least its telling me with an error message instead of insisting it saved successfully.
Anyway, any insight on this would be appreciated. Maybe theres more info on their discord but it's still shut down so I can't join or check.
