JG AUG converted to HPA using a Polarstar Kythera V3.

Everything is brand new from March/April 2026

DMR purpose-built.

Still currently in the tuning phase. I haven’t been able to get it shooting consistently, and I don’t have the motivation to finish it at the moment as I’m focused on other projects.

The V3 gearbox was heavily modified to fit the Kythera, so it is no longer suitable for AEG use.

I'll be straight here, the XMOD mechanical HPA engine is an absolute beast. It fits in place of a V2 gearbox configuration and offers total reliability without the need for batteries or complex electronics.

Adjustable nozzle is a game changer, removing the need for a new nozzle for different V2 platforms. It also features a magnetic trigger and XYZ alignment screws.

This engine is built for players who want high performance and mechanical simplicity.

Mechlabs Roto buckingless hop up unit. It uses a micro-injected nub to provide a solid backspin and shot to shot consistency.

Unfortunately it does not include a barrel lock, however I did have good results with a cyma barrel lock (as you can see in the photos there are filing marks on the surface as the barrel log was protruded out. Does not affect performance)
