This is the first build I tried painting. Previous three kits that I built were all straight builds with panel lining and water decals. With this build, I decided to try something new since I carried this kit all the way back from Japan. So I got myself a set of acrylic markers and a wash-free airbrush from Dspiae. Not sure if I should’ve chosen this Gundam to be the first of my painted kits because hollyyy, this kit requires a lot of work to be color accurate, especially the wings and the energy cell bar. Masking them was a nightmare.
Btw, semi-gloss topcoat truly does wonders.
