Trying to get back into the workforce

I was made redundant (along with I think atleast 30% of the company) during my maternity leave. Can’t complain too much, it was a decent payout which got us through to the 12 month mark. In that period I’ve been dreading applying from all the posts saying how difficult it is to land a job now. I’ve finally given myself a kick up the bum and applied for a bunch of places, hoping something sticks and doesn’t turn out to be a 6 month endeavour like I’ve seen on some posts. Wish me luck!
