47 y/o F, I’ve had a handful of vasovagal syncope episodes in my adult life. Most recent one was at my most recent dental cleaning, when my dentist told me that he thinks I may need a root canal (while i love going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned, anything beyond that freaks me out). Short story, this was two months ago, and I need to make an appointment with an endodontist. I’ve been putting it off because I’m afraid of passing out again. Anyone have any tips for me, both to get through a consultation, and the actual procedure? Just the thought of it is making me lightheaded. Thank you!
