I've just returned to this game and there are only question marks floating above my head. What are the most important meta units that lets the account progress smoothly, especially regarding story chapters? I'll be saving up but doubtfully i can roll many units from the looks of it.
As the title said, i still have no idea how defense skills interact with boss skills in boss fights.
For example, Rufo, Docent of The Ring, have skills, "Burst Forth the Pulsing Crimson under Your Skin.", which states that "This Skill does not trigger Defense Skills (excluding Clashable Guard)". What does that mean? Defense skills don't reduce damage except Clashable Guard do reduce damage?
"If target has equipped Defense Skills while having Palette Vibrante, deal -90% damage instead". Does this means "Defense" skill, "Dodge" skill and "Clashable Guard" skill as well? Or "Dodge" and "Clashable Guard" don't apply?
The other skill, "Critique" skill, also have "If target has equipped Defense Skills while having Palette Vibrante, Clash Power +6 and deal -90% damage instead". Does "Dodge" and "Clashable Guard" skills apply or they don't do anything?
I tried to spawn Hatred and Despair theme pack on floor 3 but seen none, so I ended up just switching to Hard mode to spawn the theme pack. I've only completed the Easy mode of 6th Walpurgis in the story. Is that normal?
As the title said, i'm kind of thinking about whether i should consider last season's team(s) or new season high clashers & walpurgis when making the decision? I don't spend money and am kind of a casual player at it so i would really appreciate some form of advice from people who have had this dilemma before in their minds.
I don't spend so i need some expertise on what i can get for my second team of 6-7 mandatory sinners. Any help would be appreciated?
