Is a Fujifilm good for a beginner?
- Budget: $500-$1000
- Country: USA
- Condition: Used if its cheaper
- Type of Camera: Point and shoot fixed
- Intended use: Photography
- If photography; what style: (landscape, portrait, street, food,)
- What features do you absolutely need: weather sealing, articulating screen
- What features would be nice to have: Viewfinder, zoom
- Portability: How portable does it need to be? pocketable for travel
- Cameras you're considering: Lumix ZS99, Sony RX100 VII, Fujifilm X100V or X100VI.
- Cameras you already have: Rebel T7i
- Notes: Hi everyone, so recently ive been looking back getting into photography. For context I used a Rebel T7i and I never used it the way I wanted due to how bulky it was. I realized I really like taking photos with my phone which led me to point-and-shoot Cameras. I use a Fujifilm Instax and I have a ton of fun with it so I wanted something that can give me those film-like photos. I researched some and Ive come down to a couple: Lumix ZS99, Sony RX100 VII, Fujufilm X100V or X100VI. I like the lumix and sony because of their zoom and how compact it is, but im starting to prefer the Fujifilm for its film simulation! I would be using this for travel and outings mainly with some indoor food photography as well. Thoughts?
