My FIL passed and somehow my wife ended up with his giant container of marbles. I pulled aside all of the ones that glow under black light and separated kinda by size. How should I ho about figuring out if these are anything of value? Thanks for a m y help!
Good afternoon all. Looking for perspective on pricing for a "warranty" repair on my furnace/AC. Purchased a Lennox system 8 or so years ago, furnace is a 2 stage heat and the air is variable (i think thats the term-salesman explained it will run from 10% to 100% based on need-usually running very slowly).
About 4 years ago stopped cooling, they replaced the condenser fan motor under warranty.
A/C went out again next week, repair person came out and thought it needed the condenser cleaned. Charged me $125 to show up and $150 to "clean and check". That did not fix it and they determined the condenser motor went again. Fortunately under warranty, however I was billed $486 for "replace condenser motor under manufacturers part warranty". Wasn't home, but I understand the tech was in and out in less than 90 minutes.
Is this a reasonable charge for both services or do I need to start looking for a new company?
