PSA: The Speed Limit On the Highway is 65mph
It’s not 40mph. It’s not 55mph it’s 65mph.
If you are too scared or feel like you’re going to hit someone else going 65mph please please please do these things.
Either:
- Don’t take the highway! You’re making it dangerous for everyone else driving extremely slowly.
Or
- Go practice!!! If you have a student driver sticker on your car you didn’t graduate! For the sake of everyone else who has to share the road with you, please go practice on the weekends so you become a more confident driver.
Sorry for the rant. I just can’t take it anymore. The amount of poor driving here is insane to me. Doesn’t help that you guys don’t have a passing lane here like we do in Chicago.
If I didn’t have to share the road with you, then whatever. But we have to drive together so please for the love of god just go practice driving.

Just want to add. This is really aimed at those who don’t feel confident or are scared to be driving the speed limit on the highway or merging at a safe speed.
