Did Eisenhower actually denounce the 1965 Battle of the Bulge film, or is this just a modern click-farm myth?

Every time that movie is brought up in extended discussion, inevitably someone will say "Did you know it was so bad that Eisenhower came out of retirement to give a press conference to denounce it's inaccuracies?!" but whenever I try finding even a single direct quote from Eisenhower to see what he said on the movie, I get nothing. No direct quotes, no dates he gave the interview, no details about the interview itself and what medium it was printed in, how long he discussed the film or what his biggest complaints were. Absolutely nothing besides an endless wave of comments from people quoting other people that are themselves quoting anonymous twitter/youtube comments they read.

I have no doubt Eisenhower would have hated the film if he saw it, but the longer I look the more I doubt he's even seen the film at all, let alone thrashed it in a press conference. All the quotes about Eisenhower and the film are also extremely derivative to one another and don't touch on a single actual point besides "imagine being so inaccurate that you make the president come out of retirement" which in itself is... nonsensical if you think about it for more than a second. Someone giving a casual interview where they trash talk a movie is not "breaking retirement".

So are there any actual recordings or news clippings or... anything that shows Eisenhower actually discussed the movie, or is this just a fib cooked up by bored content creators that wanted a few extra clicks? I feel like this question is both a bit too mild and too mundane for this sub, but I also don't really know where else to ask it.
