Hey guys, I’ve been learning how to draw for the past 4 months now and I’ve been studying traditional designs. Just did a sheet with basic alcohol markers. I know there are saturation problems and the line work could be more confident for sure..but does this look like I’m on the right track. CC would be appreciated. Designs are absolutely not fully original, inspiration taken from some existing flash. Thanks!

The stalwarts of the game are now mostly in their mid 30s. The kids (us) who grew up with them are mostly in our 20s if not 30s.

The majority of teenagers of today are not interested in listening to a perspective 20 years older than theirs. To cater to that we are getting older rappers rapping about young subjects and most of this is honestly pretty bad.

The younger rappers in their early 20s today are honestly offshoots of their heroes and have similar styles and content. There is nobody who is an obvious step up from the rappers of the last 10 years. We need unique music now, not music inspired by the last 10 years.

A great example of a musician doing unique in comparison to the last 10 years is Chaar Diwari. It’s massy, it’s his own take on the genre and most importantly it’s relatable to today’s 16 year old.

If we don’t get more unique takes on music, this genre will 100% fade as its stalwarts hit their 40s.
And no - just calling your music new wave or making playboi carti inspired music is not bringing a new perspective on music. It needs to be something actually unexpected.
