For context I’ve really wanted light highlights that look like the picture attached. I have 4a-ish curly hair and usually keep my hair straightened with the proper heat protectant care and it has been quite resistant to much visible damage. There is the occasional breakage as one would expect but I was wondering if highlights would be a bad idea. I’m really scared of my hair being damaged and having unimaginable frizz. Also the only thing color wise I’ve had in my hair was manic panic semi permanent dye in vampire red on top of my natural hair color (deep brown).
