I’m so proud of myself!

So I’ve suffered with arachnophobia since I was 2. Like to the point I couldn’t even walk into a room where there were spider webs. I would just get riddled with anxiety. But! I’ve been following these influencers that raise jumping spiders and the spider’s little personalities have touch my animal lover spirit and I have found them to be cute. Well last week, I felt a little tickle on my arm and I look and it’s the cutest little jumping spider. And instead of freaking out and swatting it away. I let it crawl on my hand and I brought him over to my plants so he could catch the creepy crawlers living in there. I did feel my anxiety creeping up but I was able to keep it at bay until I was able to move the spider safely then I inevitably did my creepy crawler shake and had to shake my anxiety off but still I was so proud of myself taking that first step in concurring this irrational phobia!
