night sweats?
does anyone else really struggle with night sweats, and if so is there anything that you have been able to do about them? it happens to me almost daily, including naps. either i wake up (usually at 2-3am) just a little sweaty, take 1 leg/arm out of the blanket & fall right back asleep, or i wake up FREEZING, fully drenched from head to toe, needing to change my clothes, get new blankets, etc. i wear a tank tops/shorts to bed, and only sleep with 1 blanket. no top sheet, no comforter, my boyfriend & i do not share a blanket, we each have our own. i can’t make my house any colder at night because when i’m falling asleep because i’m usually still cold and would love to layer up more, but am trying to prevent the creation of a personal sauna. but either way, i’m positive my house could be 0° and i could sleep naked with no blanket and it wouldn’t matter, i would still sweat. the worst part is, for most of my life i have been a nighttime shower person, but for the past 6 years it has been physically impossible/pointless because i have to do it again in the morning anyways. i saw a post in this subreddit from like 3 years ago where people said birth control & surgery helped with this, but am 1 month post op from excision surgery and have been on nexplanon for 8 months and i have not seen any improvement. does anyone have any advice, anything that has worked for them?
