It's actually doing pretty damn well

I was worried that the comic might have been a niche thing, since so many people disliked it. But it seems like people are actually pretty hyped up about it, most comments on the video are positive.

I haven't read the first issue (Worst time to not be american) but I did analyse the covers for the first three issues, and decided to make predictions based on those, and also the descriptions.

  • Now in possession of a mysterious alien device, not only is young Ben Tennyson taking on a variety of strange, otherworldly forms, but the United States army has him on the run! He's learning more about the Omnitrix - the hard way! Also hot on Ben's trail is his grandfather, Max, a man with his own set of secrets. Not to mention cousin Gwen, who isn't about to sit out these adventures either!

The army being introduced this early might mean we get more time to develop Ben 10's version of Guantanamo Bay, which might mean that instead of Benwolf, we get Chamalien in his place as the scanned alien.

Why do I think that? Because he is the last alien in UAF that gets scanned...that's it, lol. But Ghostfreak not being in the main playlist is also part of the reason. I feel like they might save the "Halloween" aliens for a later arc, and Andromeda aliens only make sense in Agreggor's arc, so that only leaves Chamalien as Benwolf's replacement.

The latter part of the description might mean two things:

  1. Ben reveals what happened to Max and Gwen, but is being cocky and thinking he can beat the Mechadroid on his own, which leads Gwen and Max to go searching for him. Which is backed by how Max is holding a gun on one of the 3# Issue covers.
  2. Or, they might get worried Ben isn't returning and go to find out what happened, I honestly think this one is more possible.

Anyway, what are your predictions for this comic?
