Regular Pick-up Basketball Games
Hello,
I recently moved to SLC and have been trying to find a good spot to play some pickup basketball games. I used to play pickup games at least twice a week and we would get a nice big 15+ person crowd all the time. I've been trying to engage folks at my local gym (out in Riverton) but nobody seems to know the good spots to get these kind of games going.
A couple of my coworkers have talked about some church ball, but I am not LDS and wouldn't want to impose so I can get a good workout in.
Google seems to think the JL Sorenson Rec Center has a pretty active scene, can anybody confirm this? Does anybody know of other good spots to get some runs in? I'm really open to any schedule and want to build it into my week like I used to.
