Curious about current SAP freelance/contracting models in DACH

How realistic is it these days for a very senior SAP CO solution architect with multiple S/4HANA lifecycles to work:
• fully remote from EU
• via own Ltd
• directly with end clients or SAP related projects

Feels like many firms now push hybrid employment models instead of true freelance. Is direct contracting still common at senior level?
