Day trip ideas from Mannheim for a romantic 1-day date (excluding Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Heidelberg)?
Hey everyone! My girlfriend and I are looking for a nice spot for a 1-day weekend trip starting from Mannheim. The plan is simple: take the train in the morning, spend the day exploring, walking around, grabbing some good food or coffee, and head back home the same evening. We are hoping to discover some charming smaller towns, scenic nature spots, or hidden gems within a reasonable travel distance (up to 1.5 - 2 hours away from Mannheim max). Quick note: We’ve already been to or want to skip Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Heidelberg this time around.
