I just was released from surgery two Hours ago, denied the painkillers as i am not in pain but slightly nauseous also it still feels as if the bladder is still there but I can only assume that is surgery scar on my liver. The nausea comes and goes currently but i also feel the Gas and not sure what is narcotics and real nausea. My stomach is singing the Song of his people and grumbles.

I was admitted a day early due to a panic attack, first of my life, but hey all is well that ends well. Will keep you updated on food intake and feeling in here.

Edit:

1hr later Pain and nausea slowly Subsiding but coming in Waves

Would classify pain now as a clearly wound burn on the surgery area but if anything on the Level or a superficial Skin abrasion(I have three laparoscopic holes after all)

3 hrs later: walked around to take a pee and put on jogging pants all by myself but asked for one Vomex against nausea and a pain med for the surgery with the addition “don’t stress tho” it’s fairly bearable with just paracetamol and Vomex so far as I’d assume and the surgery area is fine. Most annoying is slight pressure in the shoulder causing nausea but that was an announced side effect by pretty much everyone here.

Fun fact we still use novamin here, i asked for pracetamol instead.

4hours in: pracetamol kicking in, bit hungry, mild nausea and only wound pain ✌️ my Lads and lasses i reckon this was the Right Choice to take.

Looking forward to a soon Kebab 🥙

6hours in: wife came by i vaped my venty, I’m much healthier than anticipated.

The thc seems to not bother me as much as it always does, I enjoy slight pain with paracetamol far inferior to the hell I lived in last Saturday.

12 hours in I asked if I can maybe go home tomorrow since paracetamol is available. I need no more Vomex. They say no, bad op, you need two days at least. I did a squat to show how amazing I am and pain free. Albeit slowly. I went for another venty after. I ate a banana and a “zwieback” welcome to Germany.

Extra info: 420 enjoyer(a lot) and not drank alcohol in years

So bear with me here, I’ve had frequent acid reflux (several years now) and a full blown gastritis with food poisoning in 2025 January.

During another nauseous and painful night where they hooked me up on an iv morphine drip, I was diagnosed with big gallbladder stones unlikely to cause clogs. That was September 2025.

Since then I was constantly alternating from pain to pressure under my rib cage right and certain foods would cause me pain so I had to take some over the counter medication for either reflux or discomfort.

Last Saturday I had another episode after eating pizza that I would describe as super nauseous with a hint of pain. All in all mostly my entire body was cold sweats and discomfort without much pain but haven’t eaten since then except three spoons of white rice.

So fast forward to the er today, blood works seem unsuspicious, only one value heightened, ultrasound showed the same stones no inflammation. All in all I’ve had several attacks like this but the diagnoses was done in exclusion as to no other findings.

I’m somehow now worried that my gallbladder might not need the removal I am scheduled for. Also right now I still feel present pressure under my ribs right side where the liver sits and putting pressure is painful.

Am I doing the right thing? I want to be able to enjoy food again ….

Extra info: urine is fine, stool smearing and fatty but not discolored nor showing specifically an inflammation of the gallbladder

Another gastroscopy(oct2025) also only showed reflux level 1 and no other findings

Removal is this Wednesday
