Hose reel that Should last more than a year
For the last couple of years, I've been using a plastic hose reel, that breaks every year, it failed in the exact same way both years. This year decided to make mine using whatever wood I have around(birch ply, Sande ply and pine). I had some casters that's I bought a while back for a different project, I already had hinges, PVC pipe, screws, paint(oil based red oak stain, oil based spar urethane), hose adapters... I bought the handle (paid like $20 for it) and a couple of 45 degree fittings. Took me a couple of days while working on another million things (home renovation, garden bed and trellis, towel hanger and toothbrush and paste holder and whatever else). Anyway, it works as intended and looks great! Pretty happy with the result.
