I live on a creek inhabited by wild and formerly domesticated ducks. One duck, a khaki Campbell, suffered a broken leg in a raccoon attack over a year ago. I’ve written a story about how we rescued her, and the special bond she formed with her mallard mate and with us. I think it’s a story other duck-lovers would appreciate but it’s too long to share in this format. Are there publications you read that I should consider submitting my story too? FWIW, I am a published writer. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
