Feature request: BYOK support for Dictation
Hi everyone,
I really like Raycast Dictation. It is fast, convenient, and it fits perfectly into the way I use Raycast.
That said, I would love to have a BYOK option for dictation, so we could use our own transcription API.
The main reason is language support. I dictate a lot in Portuguese, and ElevenLabs Scribe v2 has been extremely accurate for me. The difference is huge. The error rate is much lower, and in practice it makes dictation much more useful.
I don’t think this is just about Portuguese either. A lot of people probably have a specific language, accent, or workflow where one transcription model works much better than another.
So it would be great if Raycast Dictation allowed users to bring their own API key and choose a transcription provider/model, especially for people who already rely on tools like ElevenLabs for better accuracy.
For me, this would make Raycast Dictation much more powerful.
