can someone tell me whats wrong 2

I replaced the head gasket and the pistons, but I still have the exact same problem. In fact, I feel like the engine cranks even less often now, and most of the time I only hear a single sound/click from the starter. from what i can see it only cranks if the battery power is bellow 12 on the extra gauges, if its charged it dosent crank.

Below is my original post.

I assembled the car and everything was working fine. I took it to Fleetari to have the engine adjusted to factory settings. When I picked the car up, it started smoking white from the engine bay and seemed to have slightly less power.

After that, I adjusted the distributor, and the car started much more easily again. However, suddenly, from one day to the next, without touching the engine, the car completely stopped starting. The starter just keeps cranking and cranking, but the engine will not start.

I replaced the battery and spark plugs. I also checked all the bolts and connections. The carburetor, distributor and rocker shaft/valves have all been checked and adjusted. There is definitely a spark, and the fuel pump is working.

It is also worth mentioning that the coolant level was slowly dropping, and the engine oil was also disappearing. The engine was shaking and stalling at low RPM before it stopped starting completely. White smoke also comes from the engine bay while the starter is cranking.

After removing the cylinder head, I noticed that one piston is black while the other three are grey. The head gasket itself looks fine, but I am not sure if it can still be faulty despite looking normal.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Has anyone had the same symptoms and found out which part was actually broken or worn?
