Looking for advice
To preface this, I'm going on 18 and planning on joining in a year or so. I'm planning on going the RASP route but have considered SF (I'm intrigued by both mission sets and am mostly aware of their differences.) I do however have some BH waivers that I need to get sorted out and have been hashing that out with my recruiter and he says there shouldn't be any issues. I have no need for any physical health waivers and I'm muscular from my past workout regimen but have since gotten out of shape in the cardio area. I'm not too worried about that though I can work back up from where I'm at with no issues and any workout plans you could steer me too or advice is greatly appreciated. If I do end up going the SF route I would obviously have many more years of prep and maturing to do and I've always been interested in getting into the first responder/EMS field and transferring to be an 18D. The main reason for my being adverse to the Ranger route is the "eat their young" philosophy and while I'm not naive to the fact that military life especially in SOF is going to be hard as all hell I don't know how well I'd fare in that kinda place especially considering I would go the 11x route. I'm not weak minded by any means but I have a lot of maturity and discipline to gain and I really have no idea how i'd do. That being said I'm more than willing to do the work for either route and would get a solid foundation of prep for each path. Also I have no idea of my run or apft numbers I got an 80 on the asvab and didn't really study I don't know if that's helpful info at all. I did just create this account but I've been on here for a few days so I've looked through a decent amount of info and it's been pretty helpful. Sorry for the long winded post, just thought I'd throw everything out there, any advice considering my situation helps as I really don't know much and I appreciate anyone taking the time to read through all this shit.
